the most exhilarating experience of my life.....Bandipur & Mudumalai wildlife sanctuaries...

i went to Ooty recently.....we stayed @ the place called masinagudi....enroute to masinagudi we had to pass though 2 wildlife sanctuaries which were kinda next to each other......actually most of the areas around Ooty are protected ...its just that we are crossin the border of the state into the next state so both decided to give their respected part of area their own name...the first thing i saw when i entered wad a hoopoe which flew across the car...ive never seen one outta the tv nd ma books...nd the next thing i spot is a hertd of deer(chittal)....it was absolutely amazin.......after that i saw a baby tusker with its mom(never seen one so tiny with tusks!)...then we saw a huge tusker (with HUGE tusks)givin rides....then we saw peacocks, kingfishers, more elephants, peahens, peacock eggs.............nd then i entered mudumalai .....@ first we just saw more peacoks....btw mudumalai has a tiger reserve with tigers amazing huh!.....but we coudnt c any tigers but we did c a lot of monkeys, wild dogs, wild chickens wild boars, drongos, more kingfishers nd so on.....well i did take pics of a lot of it nd hope to put it up soon....lemme know if u want it..

great story really! thanks for posting it so much! as if I visited this place and saw everything with my own eyes:) I guess every country has some places that are worth seeing, if you are eager and ready to have a nice adventure anyway. nature is so wonderful! unfortunately I wasn't able to see much so far (mostly see Discovery or National Geographic and download great videos and photos by torrents.rapid4me ) but I do dream of visiting some exotic place. hope my dream will come true!

What an wonderful story. I wish everybody could get to have these types of experiences. And we don't have to travel so far. The United States has amazing wildlife.
